About The Role

In this role, you will:

• Prepare block models/data as required and actively communicate unexpected occurrences of faults, intrusions, folds, and similar geological disturbances.
• Liaise with client and consultant geologists.
• Review and evaluate reconciliation reports and recoverable reserve status of quantity and quality, validate & review models supplied by the client, report on model variances.
• Liaise with client on preparation of working block model & ensure relevant new pit data are incorporated into the block model.
• Provide qualitative and quantitative data of the reserve and manipulate reserves to account for mining practices.
• Provide lithology data that we have and provide information of stratigraphy and structure data

About you

• High level of proficiency in MS Office and mining software i.e Micromine, Surpac, Vulcan, MineScape, etc.
• Strong experience in Mine methodology, technology, and design concepts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English/Bahasa.
• Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline – Geology
• An awareness of mine operation regulatory requirements.
• Have exposure to various commodities i.e., gold, nickel, iron ore, coal, etc
• Strong knowledge of mineral exploration and geological modelling
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional geologist in hard rock mining industry
