Business Development Geologist - Nickel

Our client is a large organization with multiple major sites and subsidiaries. As part of their expansion and new site acquisitions, this role will be working directly with the owner
Job Responsibilities

• Supports reserves determination and economic evaluations
• Optimize operational performance through provision of best practice geological, geotechnical and nickel quality information to internal stakeholders
• Aid in optimal safety, nickel recovery and quality
• Responsible with communicating the technical content of our proposals to internal and external stakeholders, keeping stakeholders updated on project progress

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in business development and/or geoscience , preferably in the mining industry with a core focus in nickel exploration
• Experience in JORC and/or KCMI
• In depth knowledge of the mining industry and legal requirements
• A relevant degree in Mining, Geology or Metallurgy
