What will you do?

In this position, you will join our growing Indonesia Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Environmental, Sustainable projects.

Project Delivery

• Address any project risks or issues that may arise, and proactively devise solutions to keep projects on track.
• Implement effective project management methodologies to optimize project performance and meet quality standards.
• Plan, execute, and monitor environmental projects related to contaminated land assessment, remediation, and ESIA, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project objectives.
• Establish project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, and oversee their successful completion within budget and specified timeframes.

Winning Work & Client Relationships

• Engage with clients to understand their environmental needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and obtain client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business development teams to identify potential project opportunities and prepare winning proposals.

Financial management

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and billing, and manage project finances efficiently.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, revenues, and profitability.

Manage the Team

• Foster open communication and collaboration within the team to optimize productivity.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the project team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that team members have a clear understanding of their roles and are working cohesively towards project goals.
• Inspire and guide the project team to achieve project goals and maintain a positive team dynamic.

Reporting

• Prepare comprehensive project progress reports for clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and key performance indicators.
• Ensure that project documentation is accurate, organized, and up-to-date.

Stakeholder Communication

• Engage and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, local communities, and other relevant parties.
• Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, address concerns, and maintain a positive relationship with all parties involved.

General Management

• Responsible for the compliance to company policies and procedures, legislative requirements, and act as a role model for Aurecon’s values and behaviours.
• Provide input into Unit or office business planning, as requested.
• Oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols to protect the well-being of the team and stakeholders involved in the Aurecon projects.
• Demonstrate safety leadership in all aspects of Aurecon’s business.
• Stay informed about advancements in environmental technologies, regulations, and methodologies.
• Implement best practices and industry standards for environmental project management, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Prioritize health, safety, and environmental protection throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to HSE protocols, and conduct regular risk assessments.
• Provide safety leadership to the team and actively promote a culture of safety.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Review and approve project documentation and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement rigorous QA/QC processes to maintain the quality of project deliverables.

What can you bring to the team?

You Will Also Need The Following

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.

• Experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex Environmental projects
• 8+ years’ relevant professional/technical experience and/or specialization in Environmental Project Manager
• Experience ESIA, AMDAL, Contaminated Land and Remediation is preferred but not mandatory
• Required - degree in an appropriate professional field (Environmental Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Geology, Biology.
• Excellent communicator (in both English and Bahasa) with well-developed commercial, analytical and technical skills
• Experienced in delivering innovative and complex Environmental projects in a fast paced environment
• Sense-making communication skills, being able to explain complex Environmental technical and solutions to non-technical audiences
• High level Environmental consulting and client management skills
• Demonstrated leadership and team management ability
• Experience or interest in managing projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept and Technical
