Senior Consultant - Biodiversity And Nbs

Role Responsibilities:

• Business development through client facing, proposal design and development and follow through for project delivery.
• Technical support on implementation of the International Finance Corporation Performance Standards (PS), with emphasis on PS6 and allied standards such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Safeguard Policy Statement (SPS) and World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF)
• Provide technical support to the growing team of consultants in Indonesia for biodiversity and ecosystem services impact assessment and management planning with emphasis on renewable energy that include wind, solar, hydropower and other current technologies.
• Technical Support on the development of biodiversity management and action plans with emphasis on addressing residual impacts through compensatory action such as biodiversity offsets.
• Technical support on the development and implementation of projects for climate adaptation and mitigation through means such as Nature Based Solutions.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you :

• At least 2 years experience with IFC PS6 and/or allied standards
• Good working knowledge of current commercial trends in both technologies and environmental safeguards needs in Low Carbon Economic Transitions for the Southeast Asian region
• At least 2 years experience in involving with ESIA-AMDAL projects.
• Excellent experience in the Indonesian consultancy market, with a strong external-facing, client-orientated approach
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
• Having at least BSc education background on natural resource management/forestry/agricultural from reputable university
• 3+ years experience in biodiversity and ecosystem impact assessment and management planning, environment and social due diligence involving biodiversity and ecosystem services risk screening.
• Excellent understanding of Indonesian ecosystems and Asian country specific frameworks and policy
