Job Description

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of the fastest-growing multinational company with a core focus on Heavy Machinery Industry. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience for the job of Marketing Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.


Responsibilities:

  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's products and services, build relationships with industry professionals, and generate leads.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, and utilize this knowledge to enhance sales strategies and gain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate regular reports to evaluate sales effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, safety standards, and product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, and actively pursue sales leads to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share for forklift products and services.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and coaching to maximise their performance and meet sales objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our forklift products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer experience.


Requirements:

  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving targets, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a similar industry.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the heavy machinery or forklift industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Strong sales sense and ability to identify customer needs, develop effective sales strategies, and close deals.
  • In-depth knowledge of forklifts and heavy machinery, including their features, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team, driving them towards achieving common goals.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support the sales team as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their business requirements, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, sales analytics tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle objections, resolve conflicts, and navigate complex sales scenarios.
