One of the fast growing nickel mining company in east Indonesia currently seeking candidate for following position;
Project Manager (PM)

Placement at Weda, Halmahera, North Maluku.
Key job responsibilities include:
*Lead the whole project and operation in mining site, reporting to the Head of Operations and Operation Director.
*As part of on site-management team, work closely, coordinate and communicate with the head office and all stakeholders in establishing the overall strategy for the mine and provide day to day information and recommendation for Head office decision making.
*Manage together with engineering, plant and mining team in all aspects of running the day-to-day in a mining site towards agreed performance and production targets
*Oversee and assess project engineering, mine plan, run of mine, phases, geological information and other engineering activities during the construction/ excavation phase
*Make a facilities planning, process engineering, maintenance and application of technology and engineering work relating to new project development
*Monitor closely with cost control and budget team of day to day cost and profitability parameter as agreed on commercial document
*Set strategic direction of the mining process, develop continuous improvement initiatives and improve procedures in an economical manner
Job Requirements:
*Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Industry or related field
*Minimum 15 years combined experience in mining production and engineering with knowledge of mining processes, experience in Nickel mining will be an advantage.
*Minimum 3 years as Project Manager / Deputy in mining contractors company
*Held Pengawas Operasional Madya (POM) Certificate
*Have a strong knowledge of mining operation technique, heavy equipment and mining engineering.
*Strong knowledge of environmental issues, mining legislation and labour law, mining technology and heavy production equipment
*Possess leadership to head the team, lead by example
*Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with his team, and also across other departments / companies
*Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
*English language, international business experience highly appreciated
*Cost efficient and cost conscious driven approach.
*Team player, positive attitude, hands-on and high flexibility
