About Our Client
The company is a leading electrical cable manufacturer that has presence worldwide.

• Take ownership of the Daily Meeting (meeting 45).
• Hold responsibility for HSE and Quality in the production area.
• Manage labor effectively to maximize Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and ensure production lines operate at standard speeds.
• Drive the team to meet production plans in line with agreed forecasts and review line saturation.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement programs such as Kaizen, 6S, A3, etc.
• Lead stock-taking efforts for work-in-progress (WIP).
• Promote a "Right the First Time" mindset within the team to minimize rework and customer complaints.
• Exercise control over variable costs related to the production team.
• Foster strong coordination with Production Planning, Material Planning, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and other supporting functions.
• Ensure efficient and responsible use of materials, keeping waste levels and over-usage under control.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 5 years in a senior managerial position within the Production/Engineering area of a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in handling shopfloor matters.
• Attentive to detail and comfortable with thoroughness in work.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in addressing labor-related issues would be advantageous.
• Possesses effective communication skills.
