A rapidly expanding medical devices manufacturer is seeking an Engineering Manager. In this job, you will lead a team in engineering, maintenance, facility, and utility.

About The Engineering Manager Role

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Engineering Manager will ensure the machine and utility facility performs in accordance to the required specification and to support production process to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the technician and engineering team have good knowledge regarding the machine, method, documentation and process
• Fulfil engineering department key performance indicators correctly
• Optimise processes of existing machines
• Ensure the availability of machine/tolls spare part in accordance to the needs in order to prevent machine breakdowns
• Ensure the programme of mould management, mould maintenance and mould repair for injection machine run properly and meet the specifications
• Ensure and monitor the corrective maintenance of electrical/mechanical machine runs properly (production machine, sterility machine, QC instruments, supporting facility (i.e. AHU, compressor)
• Ensure the preventive maintenance programme is performing in accordance to the applicable programme and required targets
• Replace the task and responsibilities of Factory Manager, if the Factory Manager is unavailable

To succeed in this Engineering Manager role, you must have the ability to manage the engineer personnel, do the cost estimation of spare parts and machine that will be used for production process and manage the budget in accordance with the lead time.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience as an Engineering Manager in manufacturing or 10 years of experience working in the manufacturing FMCG industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia and English)
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minimum GPA 3.50
