Mission
  • Ensure the team and its members are empowered and visibly committed
  • Achieve production Business Unit SMQDC (safety, machine, quality, delivery, and cost) expected performance levels and respect of standards to satisfy customer demand
  • Ensure the team’s autonomy is increased through the evolution of competencies and responsibility
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, support, and direction to wage production operators
  • Monitor the short and long-term needs of the facility to ensure succession needs are met and employees are afforded opportunities for development
  • Facilitate the Identification and implementation of process improvements
  • Work with maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement teams to meet both daily and annual productivity goals
  • Develop employees through coaching plans and work closely with your team members to improve their capabilities through effective performance management
Qualification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful people management (industrial setting preferred), experience working in a large multi-national company would be advantageous.
  • Excel data analysis proficiency. Power BI would be a plus
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputable University.
  • Fluent in English (Written & spoken).
  • History of successful employee performance management (including attendance, productivity, skill development, and talent management)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate throughout all levels of the company.
  • Prefer knowledge and/or practice of Lean methodology as it applies to manufacturing.
  • Strong Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others positively.
