Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify, quantify, and prioritize risks across the organization
• Investigate and recommend corrections for incidents or events within the operations line
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of controls in mitigating identified risks
• Maintain a complete risk mapping of operational processes and system maps, which include change management assessments
• Understand and document the organization’s risk appetite, risk tolerance, and risk management philosophy
• Serve as a subject matter expert on operational risk management for the organization
• Ensure ORM policies/tools are applied consistently and timely across organisation
• Prepare reports on the status of operational risk management within the organization
• Partner with business units to develop and implement action plans to address risks and control deficiencies
• Develop, implement, and maintain an operational risk management framework that is aligned with the organization’s business strategy
• Ensure the execution and analysis of the Loss Events Data Collection process within the specific operations area

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of identifying and managing operational risks
• Experience working in relevant areas such as internal control/ risk management areas, Audit, Compliance, and assurance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 5 years experience in operational risk management
• Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
