Operational Manager - Building & Infrastructure Project

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading National Engineering & Construction company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10-15 years' experience in Building & Infrastructure project for the job of Operational Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership to the Engineering and Construction team
• Overlooking day-to-day in engineering and construction team
• Hands-on in project delivery (Building and Infrastructure project)
• Develop solutions, strategies, and assessment of current field project impact to ensure timeline and target still achievable, in line with the company's strategy
• Report directly to the Technical Director
• Monitor and review the building and infrastructure project and timeline on the field
• Do preparation and monitor in project and engineering in the project,

Job Requirements:

• At least 10 years' experience working as a Project or Operation Manager and leading the engineering teams
• Advance communication skills. Able to manage and motivate people at all levels, from staff to subcontractors
• Must have a background in working within the Building and Infrastructure Project of the construction industry
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining external relationships at senior levels
• Excellent project management skills - with the ability to identify critical path issues and develop solutions to keep a program on track
• Minimum Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from reputable universities
• Experience in coordinating multi­disciplinary activities and in intercultural environments
• Having good strategic planning skill, well-structured and well organized
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with teams and networks and influence outcomes at many levels in an organization
• Solid leadership skills, mentoring, and coaching
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the relevant Building and Infrastructure Project
• Strong problem-solving ability and effective employee management experience
• Experience within an international consultancy organization preferable
