We want to build a team of people with purpose. That’s why Wavin is currently looking for a Mixing Leader to join our team at our Manufacturing Plant @ Batang, Central Java in Indonesia. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for 5S in all work areas
• Initiate & take action on repetitive process problem
• Organize Breakdown, Preventive, Predictive and proactive maintenance as per schedule of Mixers. Provide training to sub-ordinates.
• Co-ordinate with extrusion dept. for regular planning / related problem if any.
• Contribute to planning of work and the allocation of tasks .
• Responsible for safe operation of the equipment and for stopping activites in the event of an unsafe condition.
• Providing technical guidance and diagnostic advice to staff as part of a work team.
• Operate SCADA system
• Giving monthly raw material requirement to purchase dept. With copy to production head as per the monthly production plan
• Responsible for ensuring all employees on shift are complying with HSE guidelines
• Responsible for reporting unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, incidents and accidents
• Condition monitoring data of mixers.
• Checking service regime where necessary and arrange the overhaul of equipment as needed. On the job, classroom training for technicians, contractors, etc.

Requirements:

• Predict the defect in the production process in advance.
• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Chemical or Industrial Engineering
• 5-7 years for mixing and compounding process.
• Ability to use logical skills for the analysis of information and fault finding.
• Knowledge of pneumatic conveying, mixing of solids
• Requirements of QMS- 9001 & EMS- 14001
• Wide knowledge of compounding process and effects of additives on pipe quality.
