About The Head Of Sales And Distribution (Dairy) Role

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans in Indonesia, you will play a key role in the sales team’s continued development and success in the dairy consumer goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish network and relationships with distributors/retailers andprior experience in managing sales teams
• Achieve profitable business relationships by identifying new opportunities, prospecting new clients and decision makers, and turn this into new business
• Utilise data-driven insights to evaluate sales performance (i.e. by developing a robust sales KPI for the sales and merchandise teams), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer habits to optimise sales strategies
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; set targets in areas like product mix, sales volume, market shares, business development, etc.
• Communicate effectively with the team and drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as marketing, R&D and finance
• Work with relevant stakeholders to create a product roadmap for the region; to ensure that sales strategies and activities are integrated and aligned with the overall company objectives

To succeed in this Head of Sales and Distribution (Dairy) role, you must be an expert in handling multiple projects, assignments, and duties effectively.

Key Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in sales and distribution in Indonesia, including successful experience in developing the MT, GT, and B2B channels for FMCG products
• Proven track record of driving sales growth, expanding market presence and visibility as well as negotiating of trading/distribution terms
• Strong leadership traits and interpersonal skills, experienced in managing a big team, and strong in people development
• Proven experience of managing teams and influencing workstreams and Leadership qualities as demonstrated through previous line/team management experience
• Ideal candidates has prior experience in a large FMCG, ideally -2 levels below C-level
• Results-driven, fast-paced, high initiative skills while able to work under pressure and multitasking
