SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Jotun is expanding rapidly in Indonesia and seeking a dynamic and ambitious professional to lead the Factories Operations department as the Head of Factories Operations. The role involves leading and managing Factories Operations in 3 separate sites (WB, SB, and Powder) with key functions of HSEQ, Production, Maintenance, and Project reporting. The key responsibility will be to develop the Factories’ operations and organization in these four areas, based on Jotun’s values and in accordance with agreed objectives and guidelines, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers while maximizing Operations efficiency.
- Responsible for HSEQ within the area of responsibility
- This position will be based in Cibitung, Bekasi Regency, Indonesia, and report directly to the President Director of PT. Jotun Indonesia as part of the Management Team. Lead the Factories’ Operations team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.
- Ensure close and efficient daily cooperation between all Operational functions.
- Lead the Factories’ Operations functions by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure that Operations comply with local laws and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System, and Jotun’s HSEQ Management system.
- Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities by implementing the Jotun Operations System and follow up through agreed KPIs
- Ensure professional preventative and breakdown maintenance/systems by implementing the Belt program to uphold an optimal production environment.
- Develop the Factories’ Operations areas by initiating capital investments and budgets in accordance with Jotun standards to meet requirements for HSE and capacity while maximizing Jotun’s competitive advantage.
- Arrange and participate in operations management meetings to coordinate activities and improvement projects

Required
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in chemical engineering
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- At least seven years of work experience with a proven leadership track record in the related field, especially in the chemical industry

- Excellent presentation and communication skills are required.
- Has a driven personality, able to convince and persuade others
- Strong leadership skill
