Launched a few years ago during COVID era, our client's business within property-tech/hospitality has grown beyond their expectation, and as such, they are looking to bring on board a seasoned Head of Corporate Development to join their ever growing team. With market dominance in Indonesia, they are committed that Indonesia will still be a key market to them.

Description

The suitable candidate will be reporting to the CEO (Co-Founder and will be responsible to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic growth and expansion of the company. Other responsibilities include:

• Providing all analytic required for the partners, which include leading and preparing preliminary due diligence reports and modelling.
• Leading negotiations with external parties, including potential partners, acquisition targets, and investors, to achieve favourable terms for the company.
• Leading, participating in deal processes, including analysis, financial modelling and valuation.
• Developing and reviewing important documents and information memorandum to provide data about new investment opportunities, and providing summary for the management team.
• Demonstrating functional competence and deep industry knowledge.
• Developing and refining the company's overall corporate development strategy in alignment with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
• Driving key initiatives related to investments which includes fund raising, partnership and other strategic projects.
• Understanding of the company's industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
• Conducting relevant market work to build cases, conducting market research and feasibility studies, and competitor's analysis.

Profile

Because of the highly competitiveness of the process, this role is only opened for Indonesians with excellent communication in English and Bahasa. To seize the opportunity to work for this highly dynamic client, you should be/have:

• Literacy in financial modelling and finance background will be highly preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, analytic and decision making skills.
• Not title driven as this is a very lean team.
• Passionate in the digital industry and possess entrepreneur mindset.
• University graduate major with a preference of international degree.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in financial modelling, valuation and investment will be highly preferred.
• Excellent time and project management skill with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Ability to work alone as this is a newly created role with no direct report.
• At least 6 years of working experience either in strategy consulting, investment, or in reputable tech-start up within their corporate strategy team. Candidates from investment background is also welcome to apply.
• Strong business acumen, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and adaptability, energetic and result-oriented.
