Job Description

One of our Brands in the Consumer Electronics category is looking for GT Sales Manager, with as follows:


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute various strategic growth/ commercial & distribution initiatives and partnerships in GT channels
  • Monitor the overall market landscape/ trends and conduct competition analysis for General or Traditional Trade/ GT) channels to understand the market opportunities and potential challenges
  • Implement pricing strategies for all retail distribution and retail partners
  • Manage relationships with all retail distribution partners and retail partners (GT customers) and determine/appoint distribution and retail partners with GT leads
  • Manage the appointments, evaluations and negotiations with all retail distribution and retail partners with the most effective and efficient process and budget/ costs, e.g. arrangements of distribution & retail margin, pricing structure for GT channel, trading terms, new vendor and SKU listing arrangement, return policy, payment terms, scope of distribution, etc.


Key Requirements

  • Strong spoken and written fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • At least 5-8 years of working experience in retail and distribution within Consumer Electronic industries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite programs – Microsoft Word, Power-point, Excel and Outlook.
  • Up to date with latest market trends, particularly within the Consumer Electronics segment
  • Strong leadership skills but at the same time able to be a good team player.
  • Willing to be based in Tangerang and travelling (30-50%) to the key distribution facilities and retail partners across Indonesia
  • Strong experiences in managing multi-distribution partners to execute the GT growth across Indonesia
  • Excellent presentation and data analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience in the key account management for retail distribution partners and GT partners/ customers for Consumer Electronics
  • Have a good network of key stakeholders in the retail channels (retail distribution companies and retail partners for Consumer Electronic brands)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good understanding for the pricing and margin structure in the retail channel
