Enviroment Health & Safety (Ehs) Coordinator (Contract Based)

Currently O-I Glass, Inc. Open for EHS Coordinator role. This role is a contract based (3 month Aug to Oct 2023) to supporting EHS implementation system (in daily & specific engineering projects).

Responsibilities:

The fundamental purpose of the position is drive the operational delivery of the EHS Management Plan including current running major project so that identified EHS outcomes are met and to provide timely and expert advice and support. This role provides technical support on EHS and oversees the practical execution of the EHS Management Plan. This role will collaborate with EHS manager to monitor the implementation of EHS policies and procedures, maintain records and licenses.

Requirements

A. Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) (K3) or Environmental Engineering or related fields from a university or Safety License certified by government
• At least 3 years’ experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental management in manufacturing
• Preferably certified ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001
• Have training certification for Fire Protection and Prevention will be an advantage
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate across teams, drive change, and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Willing to work in Jakarta Plant, Cakung, East Jakarta
• Must certified AK3 Umum
• Have a solid, demonstrable working knowledge of local regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience in Risk Management & Loss prevention, Auditing, and Training & Change Management

B. Perform Experience Related

1. Familiar with JSEA, Contractor review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), processes safety management plans & handling related documents.
2. Able to Schedule and manage planned project EHS meetings, project walks and inspections and the preparation and distribution of meeting minutes and reports.
3. Oversee and monitor the development and approval of the Permit to Work process and issuing of permits for prescribed high-risk work.
4. Provide oversight of and lead incident investigations, root cause analyses and the compilation of written reports.
5. Oversee the Safety Walk & Talk, Hazard and Near Miss reporting processes including the submission of written reports and setting and monitoring EHS KPIs for the project. Provide periodic reports for inclusion in the project reporting.
