Role
Head of Operations is responsible for the management, supervision, direction and administration of all fund administration activities. The key areas would include; Fund Operations, Investor Operations/Transfer agency, Customer Service, Transition Management, Vendor Governance, CRS Reporting, Performance & Data Management and Management of IT systems that support operations.
Key Accountabilities

• Exercise the usual authority of a team head concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions recommendations, and terminations.
• Work with senior management and regional line manager to facilitate roll out of various local and regional projects
• Responsible for the resolution of all issues dealing with operations of an asset management company
• Ensure that the requirements of Group policy are met
• Build and maintain good relationship with team members, other departments, clients, region, custodian bank, counterparty/brokers and regulator
• Ensure appropriate operational control and processes to support the current and future business needs of the company.
• Be fully aware of industry best practices and seek to influence senior management on ways to improve operational efficiency.
• Liaise and manage good relationship with both internal & external counterparties
• Develop and implement team objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure appropriate supervision and coordination of all fund administration and transfer agency activities
• On-going supervision and review of Third Party arrangement to ensure that the requirements of Group policy as well as suitable service levels are met
• All initiatives, strategies and project related to Operations and Fund Administration area
