(Digital Bank) Head Of Collection

About the Company

Our client is a leading commercial digital bank that has been publicly listed in Indonesian stock market, providing current and saving account, loans, investment credit, mobile banking, and other related products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the bank's collections strategy, ensuring effective recovery of debts and minimizing losses.
• Train and supervise the collections team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and legal, to streamline the collections process.
• Stay abreast of developments in collections strategies, technology, and regulations.
• Regularly report to senior management on the status of delinquent accounts and recovery activities.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in collections.
• Foster strong relationships with customers, seeking to understand their circumstances and offering suitable repayment plans.
• Oversee the entire collections process, from early stage collections to recovery of written-off accounts.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks in the collections process.
• Analyze data to assess the performance of the collections team and implement improvements as necessary.

Requirements:

• Certification in Credit and Collection Management is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Familiar with operational business collection strategy management methods, and have a full understanding of the business process and operating mode of Indonesian local outsourcers.
• Strong understanding of collections regulations and industry best practices.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing effective collections strategies.
• Full-time bachelor degree or above, no major limitation
• 6+ years of relevant work experience, with experience in collection management in Indonesian top banks.
