The Operations group is currently seeking a Data Associate based out of our Jakarta office to support our Public Finance ratings group.

We’ll Count On You To

• Support the ratings process by reviewing financial data entered into Fitch databases against source documents.
• Collect source documents and submit for data entry.
• Enable faster and accurate availability of financial statements and improved quality and speed of processing financial statement adjustments.
• Provide support on ad-hoc projects that arise throughout the review cycle, including the collection, entry, and organisation of unique datasets.

What You Need To Have

The position involves providing a range of non-analytical support services required for the overall credit analysis performed by Fitch. We are open to candidates who are newly qualified graduates, early in their career or have 1-2 years’ experience working with bulk data sets or data cleaning . The successful candidate must:

• Highly motivated, flexible, collaborative, and adaptable to change
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to communicate with senior managers, analytical staff and technical support.
• Ability to work independently within a cohesive team environment and seek input on priorities
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new environments.
• Customer focused with the commitment to providing exceptional client service.

What Would Make You Stand Out

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field a plus
• Experience with SQL
