My client is an early stage but already highly successful eCommerce company based in Indonesia.

They are looking for an exceptionally capable CTPO who will form part of the executive leadership team and will shape the technology vision, development, and product operations for the entire portfolio of products and services.

The CTPO will be responsible for leading a technology organisation of over 250 people (with plans to grow) and drive the business into the next phase of rapid growth to provide more value to the millions who rely on the company's products and services daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hire and develop highly talented software engineering teams, providing skill development and training to enable them to become exceptional technical leads and people managers as well
• Work with other C levels to help establish and grow the company culture, as well as to set up the business for future success
• Guide and influence all processes for the engineering organisation, including the software development lifecycle, technology choices, and prioritisation of work and projects
• Lead the development and delivery of all products and services, and further expand the product portfolio
• Own and lead software development, quality assurance and product operations teams, which currently consists of over 200 people

Key Requirements:

• A proven track record of leading globally distributed engineering teams and enabling collaboration and bridging gaps
• At least 10 years' experience in software engineering and experience building consumer tech products that have achieved scale
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to define goals and strategies, design organisations, hire, motivate, assess, and manage
• Core experience in eCommerce / marketplaces / consumer software within Indonesia is a must
• Extremely sharp logic and communication skills
