Responsibilities

• Analyze community engagement data to inform decision-making and to improve community interactions.
• Drive community growth and engagement through creative campaigns, contests, and initiatives.
• Moderate community channels for customer support opportunities and handle queries directly or delegate appropriately.
• Facilitate and oversee virtual community events, game nights, AMAs, and other activities that foster a sense of belonging.
• Work closely with the team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies.
• Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure community activities align with overall company objectives.
• Create and distribute regular community updates, keeping our members informed and engaged.
• Develop, manage, and nurture a vibrant, engaging online community across our Discord servers and other social media platforms.

Requirements

• Demonstrable ability to create engaging content for the community (e.g., posts, newsletters, announcements).
• Extensive knowledge of Discord platform, server management tools, and community moderation best practices.
• Good understanding of social media analytics and ability to use data to drive engagement strategy.
• Proven experience in organizing and managing virtual events and activities.
• Proven experience as a community manager, preferably in the gaming or crypto sectors.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong customer service orientation with a knack for understanding user needs.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones, being flexible to accommodate community needs.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with using CRM's in tools such as Airtable.
• Proficiency in another language besides English.
• Demonstrable experience or understanding of blockchain technology.
• Prior experience in working in a fast-paced, agile, and remote working environment.
• Experience managing large communities in the international context.
• Experience in using community management tools beyond Discord, such as Slack, Task Management tools such as Jira, etc.
• Strong interest in and understanding of the gaming and crypto industries.
