Community Manager - Gaming

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of the growing gaming companies. Our respected client is looking for a massive gamer as an experienced Community Manager with > 5 years of experience in creative agency/company. The job will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

:

• Monitor and moderate community platforms to ensure a safe and respectful environment for players. Address toxic behavior, enforce community guidelines, and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Engage with the community frequently.
• Develop strategies to improve the work of the community, provide them with resources, and identify exciting opportunities.
• Stay updated with the evolving needs of the Indonesian community by monitoring their daily engagement on various platforms.
• Create and manage an active and positive community around the game. Organize and participate in community events, competitions, and discussions to foster player interaction and connection.

Job Qualifications:

• Adaptable and able to keep up with gaming trends.
• Fluent in both English and Indonesian.
• A deep understanding of and passion for video games and the gaming culture is essential to relate to the community and understand player needs.
• Participation in a game launch or major campaign.
• > 5 years of experience in handling community in gaming industry.
• Knowledge of the global streamer community and ecosystem.
• Experience in live events, with familiarity in esports being an advantage.
