Business Analyst - Jakarta

Job brief We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our fast-growing Jakarta team, as we build out a world class sales and engineering capability that will be responsible for client projects, ongoing client operations and support services. It is essential that successful applicants have robust knowledge and practical experience in business process and systems analysis along with project management skills. This role will form a key connector between our clients, sales teams and engineering teams. Therefore, a thorough knowledge of software business process implementations including agile methodologies and continuous delivery are a must have.

The primary responsibility will be working with the sales teams and engineering teams, assisting with tech-pre sales scoping and preparation of client demonstrations, running client discover workshops, performing details analysis on discovery outputs, developing transformation roadmap plans with sales and engineering teams for inclusion in client proposals and project management of customer solution implementations. Sometimes the responsibilities will include working with our strategic partner organizations on assignment. At times you will work on existing client accounts management to ensure that B4B continually delivers value and stays relevant, at other times you will be working with prospective clients developing an understanding of their people, processes and systems to identify opportunities for B4B to deliver value.

The key outcomes to achieve in this role are helping develop client transformation roadmaps and driving successful client implementation projects that meet their business and technological needs.

Realistic candidates must also have extremely good communications skills, whether listening to concerns of customers or conveying functional and non-functional information between customers and engineering teams. There will be a need to compile reports at times, so those skills will have to be both verbal and written. Business Analysts can expect to be working under immense pressure from time to time, so remaining calm is a definite plus point. Highly developed leadership skills and emotional intelligence will be required, with the ability to know what brings out the best in people and create high performing teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Initially work on a strategic level project with the following responsibilities

○ Act as the primary point of contact between our partner and its stakeholders in Indonesia, building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, clients, and vendors.

○ Gather and analyze data related to partners operations in Indonesia, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges.

○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both India and Indonesia to develop business strategies, proposals, and plans.

○ Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth opportunities for strategic partners in the Indonesian market.

○ Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

○ Ensure compliance with local regulations and laws, as well as with partners policies and procedures.

○ Monitor and evaluate the performance of partners operations in Indonesia, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to address them.

○ Communicate regularly with stakeholders in both India and Indonesia, providing updates on project progress, issues, and risks.

○ Perform other duties as assigned by management.

● Following the successful completion of the assignment project with our strategic partners you will return to B4B HQ with the following responsibilities:

○ Provide business analysis assistance and support to sales and engineering teams.

○ Be an effective verbal and written communicator, as well as an active listener.

○ Strive to reach relevant business growth targets such as number of successful client implementations per year and ongoing client satisfaction ratings and client churn rates.

○ Executive reporting on status and progress of client discovery, roadmaps, proposals and implementation projects to directors and executives.

○ Ability to prepare and host client discovery and implementation workshops.

○ Provide product and industry feedback from customer interactions to our leadership and product teams. ○ Research and remain up to date on all relevant industry developments and changes.

○ Maintain client satisfaction while ensuring that our products and services always remain relevant and continue to deliver value to our customers.

○ Liaising with company executives, product and technology leadership, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure our effective product strategies and product market fit.

○ Supporting client sales and marketing initiatives to help drive growth in both clients and active users on our platform solutions.

○ Client account management and being the primary point of contact for client implementation projects and as a business interface alongside the technical help desk and support teams.

Requirements and skills

● Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.

● Minimum 3 years’ experience in business analysis, project management or a related field.

● Must be an Indonesian Resident who lives in greater Jabodetabek area who can commute daily to our central Jakarta office and to our customers offices.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data from various sources.

● Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. ● Familiarity with the Indonesian market, culture, and business practices.

● Experience in the IT, manufacturing, or energy sectors is preferred.

● Ready to travel far and wide for any regional or international opportunities

● Extensive knowledge and experience implementing modern digital business solutions will be an advantage.

● Understanding of blockchain and decentralized application will be advantageous.

● Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.

● Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Emotionally intelligent approach to team and individual oriented leadership.

● Industry certifications and relevant postgraduate education preferred

● Skilled user of office suite tool set including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

● Familiarity with multiple device platforms including Android, iOS, Windows and Mac OS.
