We are hiring an Assistant Purchasing Manager to join a collaborative and innovative team in PT. Equinox Teknologi Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the department's budget and forecasting procurement needs to ensure adequate resources are available to support business operations
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify potential suppliers and assess their products and services for quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective procurement operations
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet the company's objectives
• Review and analyze purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Oversee and manage the procurement process, from requisition to delivery, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and products
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions for the company
• Participate in supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards

Job Requirements:

• Familiarity with the procurement process and supply chain management
• Experience in a specific industry, such as manufacturing or retail may be preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in procurement, such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), may be preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Required language: Fluent in English & Chinese is preferred
• At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a supervisory or management role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other procurement software and systems
• Experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and procurement planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost savings opportunities and optimize procurement strategies
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and ethical standards, such as ISO standards and Fair Trade practices
