Area Manager - Pulp & Paper Customer Focus

About Our Client
Our client is a Global Speciality Chemical company with various business lines. A well respected player boasting a strong track record historically, they are a premium brand in the industry. Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a dynamic Area Sales Manager who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Collecting market information about the new projects in Pulp & paper customers
• Develop efficient and creative sales and marketing strategies for the assigned territory and target setting for the sales team
• Develop and manage new and existing key account within Pulp & Paper industry
• Monitoring sales team performance, analyzing sales data, periodical forecasting and reporting to Sales Director
• Managing, training and motivating existing sales team to drive revenue growth

The Successful Applicant
This role is based in Jakarta we are only looking for Indonesian nationals. Fluency in English and Bahasa is a must. The successful individual must also have excellent organizational and people skills, project & planning management skills with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner. Must seize the opportunity to lead a sales team to identify, consult and sell vehicles to fleet account customers
Other key requirements include:

• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Strong network within Pulp & Paper Industry
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• 8 years of experience as sales or marketing manager in an industrial environment
• Graduated from Chemical Engineering background
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Can communicate and fluent English
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Strong business sense and industry expertise in Pulp & Paper
