Supply Chain Manager Jobs

MAIN PURPOSE

Responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and retailers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Control the purchasing process and the budget.
• Comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.
• Collaborate with the teams in sales, marketing, and finance.
• Maintain thorough records, provide reports, and create visual aids to help management comprehend the logistical perspective.
• Develop solutions for process improvements.
• Find the important supply chain KPIs.
• Inventory control. Assure accurate forecasting and a good inventory situation.
• Create a plan and put it into action for the entire supply chain.
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers and retailers.
• Enhancing the effectiveness of the supply chain overall and searching for any potential process innovations.
• Manage third-party logistics partner to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Identify the bottleneck in the process and quickly put the appropriate fixes in place.

REQUIREMENTS

• Hands on experience with supply chain management software (SAP).
• Good time-management skills.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar relevant field will be an advantage.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage logistics and all aspects of supply chain management.
• Good leadership skill.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
• Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for at least 10 years.
