Job Description
Our Downtown Toronto client is looking for a (Director Level) – Strategic Senior HR Business Partner to join their HR Team.


This will be a Hybrid role.


The Director – Strategic Senior HR Business Partner will partner with and supports the Executive Leadership Team and other senior business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies and programs that enable the achievement of business objectives while remaining grounded and aligned to HR team key imperatives. The HRBP has a mandate to lead change and implement talent initiatives through data-based recommendations. The HRBP will provide strategic advice and counsel to the senior leadership team and is accountable for providing recommendations to the Communities of Expertise (COE) with key talent programs including talent management, succession planning and resource planning and support other business-driven talent deliverables.


You will be working with Global HR Team.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the analysis of HR metrics to gain insight from various data sources and leverage trends to support proactive decisioning.
  • Collaborate on and influence succession management and leadership development programs.
  • Drives the adoption of core HR programs and initiatives to deliver on the HR team’s collaborative priorities.
  • Builds organizational capability by influencing the alignment of strategy, culture, practices and behavior.
  • Provide talent guidance, coaching and advice to senior leaders on a range of HR functions including organization design, workforce strategy and talent planning.
  • Drive talent management with respect to the talent review, strategic workforce planning and succession processes to ensure the most effective use of talent and resources.
  • Align with business leaders in the creation and execution of overall business strategies focused on talent and people initiatives
  • Works with senior executives, business leaders and with colleagues in HR to develop and deliver HR strategies that contribute to the business and organizational success.


Requirements


  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines (e.g. employee relations, complex talent management including executive pipeline and leadership succession mgmt., organizational development and design, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and strategic support to translate complex business initiatives projects with moderate to high degree of impact to the organization into clear, consistent and systematic HR Strategy.
  • Must come from Financial Services Industry.
  • Strong leadership ability, relationship development, influencing and persuasion skills.
  • A detail oriented, collaborative, proactive and results oriented style with demonstrated success in leading and working on projects and project teams as a team player.
  • Need some experience working with Global HR.
