About the role

We are currently working with a leading Global Renewable Energy Investment company that owns various Renewable Energy projects around the world as well as a number of other countries in the APAC region especially in Wind and Solar.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for developing complex financial models from scratch to support strategic decision-making, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and assumptions for financial models.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing financial models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary updates.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in financial modeling techniques, ensuring the adoption of innovative approaches where applicable.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and stress testing to assess the impact of different variables on financial outcomes.
• Analyze financial statements, market trends, and industry benchmarks to build accurate and reliable models that align with business objectives.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior management and external investors.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models from scratch to support various business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, new product launches, and investment opportunities in renewable energy.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other financial modeling software.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership in delivering accurate and reliable financial models.
• Experience in renewable energy/energy domains
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and valuation methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with a focus on financial modeling.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
