We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team in Indonesia. The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for managing tax compliance, ensuring adherence to Indonesian tax laws and regulations, and providing strategic tax planning support. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indonesian tax legislation, excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position, minimize tax risks, and maximize tax benefits.
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules to ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities on tax audits, inquiries, and related matters.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, including income tax, value-added tax (VAT), withholding tax, and other relevant taxes.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide accurate and up-to-date tax advice and guidance to the finance team.
• Monitor changes in Indonesian tax legislation, assess their impact on the organization, and provide timely updates and recommendations to ensure compliance.
• Identify tax planning opportunities, evaluate their feasibility, and make recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, and operations teams, to provide tax insights and support on business transactions, investments, and other initiatives.
• Prepare and review tax filings, including monthly/quarterly/yearly tax returns, tax reconciliations, and tax reports, in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations and deadlines.
• Provide guidance and support to junior tax team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Must Have

• Familiarity with Indonesian tax audits, inquiries, and related procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment in Indonesia.
• Familiarity with tax software and systems used in Indonesia, as well as proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them to practical scenarios.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, including income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and transfer pricing rules.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Indonesian and English, with the ability to effectively convey tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in tax calculations and documentation.
