Senior Product Designer Ui/Ux

About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer passionate about crafting digital experiences with a user-centered design approach. You are well-versed in each stage of digital product design, including research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and analysis. Your portfolio should include both case studies of B2C and B2B applications designed for desktop and mobile devices alike. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on a highly technical team spread across the Asia Pacific, and take ownership of your projects from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and evolution of the Online Pajak Design System, ensuring consistency and efficiency across products.
• Conduct user experience (UX) research to gather insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Design pixel-perfect user interfaces (UI) with a component-based approach, ensuring consistency and usability.
• Be comfortable taking on tasks outside of your comfort zone and be open to learning new tools, techniques, and technologies.
• Plan and estimate both simple and complex projects, considering design deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Gather insights about users from the Customer Success Team to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
• Prototype new features, conduct user testing, and iterate based on feedback to optimize the user experience.
• Take ownership of respective project streams and collaborate closely with Product Managers/Owners and Engineers in the development of new features.
• Create elegant user experiences through the development of well-defined personas, user stories, flow diagrams, sitemaps, and wireframes.
• Propose improvements for current features based on user insights and best practices in the industry.

About You

• A natural self-starter and problem solver
• Fluent communication in English, interpersonal skills, and a can-do attitude
• 4+ years of user experience and human-centered design expertise
• Understanding the business context and user needs is at the top of your list - before getting into prototyping
• Overall at least 8 years of UI design experience
• An excellent eye for design and attention to detail
• Good knowledge of usability testing - from preparing the prototypes, creating test plans, crafting on-point questions, defining KPIs, recruiting the participants, conducting testing, analyzing, and identifying problems to solve
• 8+ years of experience with end-to-end product design, preferably with experience designing solutions for SaaS applications
• Experience in creating lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes in Figma or Sketch
• Good understanding of modern front-end technologies
• Have cross-platform design experiences (Web, Android, and iOS)
