About Our Client
Our client is a leading retail brand known for offering a wide range of affordable daily necessities products. With numerous stores across multiple countries, they provide customers with convenient access to quality goods for self-projects and everyday needs.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, leases, and distribution agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to provide legal guidance on various business initiatives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
• Handle legal issues related to employment, labor, and immigration.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, including arbitration and litigation, as necessary.
• Manage and oversee legal aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide range of legal matters related to the retail industry.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a legal counsel, preferably in the retail industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters and provide sound advice to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent understanding of Indonesian corporate laws, regulations, and legal frameworks.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a wide range of responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge and experience in IPO processes and operational legal work.
