Responsibilities For Project Manager( Switchgear Factory)
- For the duration of the logistics process, coordinating and informing transportation and processing service providers of all dates and information is necessary to guarantee seamless and economical shipment and document flow.
- Creating, compiling, and sending the Project related documentation
- Coordinate requirements with production with regular reviews on project progress, deadlines, witness testing, deliveries and site works.
- Data entry in IT tools relevant for order processing (mainly SAP)
- Drawing up and forwarding of order documentation
- Prepare and Issue Monthly project report to management team
- Planning of all operations related to main and auxiliary manufacturing lines including quality, dispatch and engineering processes. (Source-Make-Deliver).
- Following Siemens Production System principles.
- Monitoring and tracking key process indicators.
- Comply with the Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. occupational health and safety and environmental protection)
- Carry out Handover Meetings from Order Execution Project Manager for all projects and review project requirements.
- Proactive contract and claim management & Risk Management.
- Conducting Lessons Learned workshop in periodic intervals and successful conclusion of the project.
- Identify project changes and variations and have proper change and claim documentation
- Collaborate with other departments like Engineering, Finance, SCM & Logistics for successful project execution
- Planning manufacturing processes of MV and LV Switchgears.
- Ensuring compliance with defined procedures/processes for project controlling and reporting
- Conduct FAT with customer and close punch points with support of QC.
- Coordinating and planning logistical operations
- Final technical order clarification
- Provide team, management with regular updates on work completed, plans, budget, strategy, adjustments and overall progress.
- Evaluating the process risks and initiating necessary actions.
- Coordinating and collaborating with factory internal groups.
- Active participation in teamwork with other participants and interface partners, forwarding of all pertinent information, for self- and other-education, and building the best logistical chain possible.
- Evaluate project performance to find opportunities for Gross Margin improvement.
- Will be the Factory's main contact, post order.
- Logistics
- Review the Bill of Material and do timely transfer to SCM for ordering of material.
- Manage the Factory project commercials including sales cost, material costs, labour costs and gross margin.
- Order processing:
- Very good command in SAP (MM, PP, SD modules)
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Being a team player and motivated for innovation and digitalization.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong technical background about Switchgears (MV,LV etc)
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- 5-8 years of project management and related experience
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Contract and claim management skills.
- Knowledge on production technologies and scheduling of manufacturing.
