Job Description

Parts Manager position open with a MNC client in Jakarta.

Lead Parts Department to meet company sales target, manage the team, maintain the relationship with customer as well as principal.


Required Skill/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience within the O&G industry with rotating equipment and relative OEM product sales and supply chain (e.g. Waukesha / CAT / Ariel) desirable
  • 7 years’ experience in the resource industry or suitable experience in a similar role
  • Sound organizational, computing and communication skills


Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Technical

· Sound organizational, computing skills particularly Excel and the ability to work well under pressure.

· Having SAP Experience

People

· Excellent communication skills

Schedule

· Ability to effectively manage time


Internal Relationships:

  • Support regional reporting requirements through accurate parts and equipment funnel development and forecasted order placements for OEM accounts
  • Monitor and organize inventory while effectively tracking new services and products for sale.
  • Perform & monitor transactions.
  • Handling orders, validate the orders have the correct prices, and product numbers.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
  • Establish active communication and engagement with Parts Dept. to ensure that orders are processed promptly.
  • Maintain sales records, as a basis for reports to the Management team

External Relationships:

  • Support Parts Dept. on order processing and keeping customers informed of delays and delivery dates.
  • Liaise with Principal, Customers, Vendors
  • Identify and support the development of additional product distribution agreements to grow year on year recurring revenue for the region
  • Maintain the customer base, get new customers.
  • Support and develop mutually beneficial relationships with key OEM representatives to ensure meet required local and regional KPI’s
