Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst and Administrative Assistant

About our Client
Our Client is a well-established resort in Ubud, offering barefoot luxury with a mix of mindfulness and pure fun! It is a place to reset, relax, dance, celebrate life, and connect with others.
In this multi-tasked role, the individual will assist the Chief Accountant with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as compile reports on financial performance and trends. Additionally, the person will handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, managing correspondence, and scheduling meetings.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
1. Assist in financial analysis and modeling: Support the Chief Accountant in performing financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to aid in decision-making processes.
2. Collect and analyze financial data: Gather relevant financial data from the various departments, organize and input data into spreadsheets or databases, and perform preliminary analysis and calculations.
3. Prepare financial reports: Assist in preparing periodic financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis reports.
4. Budgeting and forecasting support: Gather data and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, including monitoring expenses and identifying trends or discrepancies.
5. Research and market analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide insights that can support financial analysis and decision-making.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
1. General administrative tasks: Provide administrative support to the finance and accounting department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, handling phone calls, organizing documents, and maintaining filing systems.
2. Data entry and record keeping: Accurately input financial data into spreadsheets or databases, reconcile data discrepancies, and maintain accurate records for financial transactions, invoices, and receipts.
3. Assistance with financial documentation: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and presentations by organizing data, proofreading documents, and ensuring compliance with required formats or templates.
4. Communication and coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed, ensuring effective communication between the finance department and other departments or individuals.
Experience:
Minimum of one to three years experienceas a junior financial analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
Education:
Business or Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, and mathematics preferred, but not essential
