: Volunteer/Intern - Financial Inclusion and Digital Transformation Program
Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to support our program on Financial Inclusion and Digital Transformation for charities in Singapore and South East Asia. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in participating in a transformative program that aims to empower charities with digital skills and fundraising techniques. This program will be conducted in cohorts of 10 volunteers, allowing for collaborative learning and networking opportunities. Select volunteers will also be considered for full-time employment opportunities with our company. Volunteers will receive a certificate from a renowned Global Impact Tech Company and an American Nonprofit Organization upon successful completion of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the Financial Inclusion and Digital Transformation program for charities in Singapore and South East Asia.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop a deep understanding of digital empowerment strategies and fundraising techniques.
- Collaborate with program mentors and fellow volunteers to create and deliver engaging training materials and resources for charities.
- Support charities in their digital transformation journey by providing guidance and assistance in implementing digital tools and platforms.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for charities on various digital tools, including social media management, online fundraising platforms, and digital marketing strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of participating charities, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the program team to develop and refine program materials, resources, and curriculum.
- Assist with program documentation and reporting, including collecting data, tracking outcomes, and preparing reports for stakeholders.
- Contribute to the overall success of the program by actively engaging in team meetings, sharing insights and best practices, and offering suggestions for program enhancement.
Qualifications:
- A strong passion for social impact, financial inclusion, and digital transformation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with charities and program stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of digital tools and platforms, including social media, fundraising platforms, and digital marketing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in volunteering or working with nonprofits or charitable organizations is preferred but not required.
- Availability to commit to the program schedule, including training sessions, workshops, and volunteer activities.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
- Tech-savviness and a willingness to learn new technologies and digital platforms.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
