Financial Analyst Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking an Financial Analyst intern to join our team. The Financial Analyst intern will work closely with our Finance team to assist in financial analysis and forecasting for company financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in financial analysis and forecasting for company financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
2. Support the development and maintenance of financial models and reports to support strategic decision-making.
3. Conduct financial research and analysis on industry trends and competitor performance to inform business strategy.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, marketing, and operations, to provide financial guidance and support.
5. Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
6. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance tracking.
7. Process financial data and ensure data accuracy.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
9. Assist in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Qualifications

1. Currently studying or already have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2. 0-2 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or related field.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
8. Experience with financial reporting and compliance preferred.
