Details About Opportunity

People in the Information and Technology teams have complete knowledge of computer software, hardware, and networks. They will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting our company’s IT infrastructure. System administration saddles with the responsibility of managing the local and remote IT infrastructure, and monitoring online services). This role requires you to maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email, and office computers (Mac and PC).

What you will do:

You will work closely with the CEO and teams to help us transition to a secure, flexible, scalable “cloud first” landscape that supports our business and provides the best IT solutions for our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Test the compatibility and functionality of the defined solution
• Write and update the documentation of the operating procedures and instructions
• Ensure the security and reliability of the solution in the IT landscape
• Ensure continuous maintenance according to technological changes including version upgrades.
• Implement and integrate the solution and train IT colleagues, participate in the technical validation phases during go live
• Strategically source the solutions considering performance, reliability and compatibility
• Determine and formulate technical equipment and server specifications
• Analyze and diagnose failures and malfunctions related to hardware or software, provide resolution of malfunction
• Working with our team, your volunteer role includes:
• Select the required software and appropriate hardware solutions according to the business need
• Manage system resources and user accounts of the system
• Analyze and recommend solutions for business IT equipment and server needs

Education and experience

• Experience in IT administration and vendor management (preferred)
• Knowledge in consumer electronics and the retail environment (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Skills and requirements

• Fluent in English
• Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the requirements of the project change.
• Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
• Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features
• Initiative-taker with a strong commitment to driving results
• Access to a smartphone (iPhone or Android).
• Creative and tech-savvy.
• Good with Windows, and Microsoft cloud tools.
• Undergraduate degree or similar education in IT.
• Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment

• Learn to thrive in a dynamic startup team.
