Indonesia Financial/ Payable Analyst

General Purpose

• Support the Indonesian market business unit by providing timely, accurate, and cost-effective financial and management reporting in accordance with local requirements and PEP policies.
• Assisting the Control team on key detailed analysis, resolution of key processing, controls, and accounts issues, and monitoring statutory and government compliance.
• Monitors compliance with the Statutory and Government submission and coordinates with IBM (Shared service outsourced team).
• Assist in monitoring the financial reporting (Financial Reporting & Fixed Assets) and financial services (AP) processes focusing on the provision of accurate and timely reporting
• Support the delivery of management reporting requirements
• Assisting the MU Control team to review the financial results of the Market Unit.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Financial accounting & management reporting:

• Assist in the preparation and review of various reporting requirements to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of submissions
• Assist the Control team in the preparation and review of various external reporting requirements (e.g., tax returns, withholding taxes, final taxes, and business permits, etc) to ensure that they have been accurately prepared
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to improve business processes
• Manages cash flow (collection of receivables, payment management) for the Indonesia market
• Coordinate with the Supply chain / Project lead to prepare recons and ensure balances reflected are correct
• Support the Control team in the implementation of financial policies/guidelines
• Ensure proper document filing for the statutory audit purpose
• Monitor the effectiveness of the day-to-day financial transactional activities outsourced to the IBM BPO by assisting in reviewing key reports and analysis (FA, AP, GRIR aging, key account schedules) and resolution of issues, if any.
• Be a point on invoicing process and issuance of credit/debit notes
• Coordinate monthly closing and reporting process

Key Skills/Experience Required

• SAP and HFM experience
• Collaborative, outcome-focused, and positive approach to change/ issue management
• A proven ability to work well in a team environment across functions
• 3 years’ experience in Financial Accounting and US / IFRS GAAP standards
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently
• Bachelor of Accounting/Finance subject.
• Excellent functional Knowledge
• Good understanding of local regulatory and tax compliances
• Proven record of internal/external stakeholder management
• Ability to prioritize and function efficiently with tight deadlines
