Today, We are seeking a Hotel General Manager


About the Hotel General Manager:

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the operations of our captivating 4-star hotel and retreat center, nestled on the picturesque cliffs of Nyanyi Beach in Nuanu City, Bali. With 18 thoughtfully designed rooms, including seven enchanting treehouses, our hotel offers a truly unique and immersive experience. Situated on prime Balinese coastline in the traditional regency of Tabanan, our property boasts awe-inspiring ocean bluffs, a private beach nestled at the base of rolling hills, and abundant greenspace, providing an unparalleled natural backdrop. As a testament to our commitment to innovation, our retreat center features a magnificent yoga chalet on the beach itself, showcasing world-class bamboo architectural design. Join us in this vibrant and transformative environment, where we're not just a hotel but a living educational experiment that fosters creativity & open innovation.


Responsibilities:

Overall Operations Management

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve the hotel's goals and objective.
  • Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Continuously monitor and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health, and safety standards.


Financial Management

  • Collaborate with the financial team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze financial reports, and implement cost control measures.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Prepare and manage the hotel's annual budget.


Sales and Marketing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other potential partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
  • Execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to attract a diverse range of guests.
  • Utilize digital marketing channels and social media to enhance brand visibility and drive direct bookings.
  • Manage & develop a world class sales & marketing team


Team Management

  • Set clear performance expectations, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee development.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of employees, including department managers and staff members.
  • Implement effective training and development programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, sales, and marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and health and safety standards.
