Overview

Skilvul is a social enterprise with a mission to build accessible tech education for everyone.

Currently, we provide intensive coding bootcamp, corporate training, and part-time courses for on-demand digital skills. At Skilvul, we treat each other with respect and communicate with empathy. We support each other even though it is not part of our job description.

Responsibilities:

This position offers the opportunity as the Head of Project to lead, develop and manage the project team to achieve the aspirations of Skilvul Group through Project Development, engage with multiple stakeholders, manage effective coordination, consolidation, technical support and guidance by ensuring a cohesive team spirit and motivation to perform. This is a paid, remote, full-time position. Your scope of work will be (not limited to):

Team Management

  • Effectively manage project manager talent. Coordinating and facilitating regular check-ins, also leading team meetings, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the project team. Manage team dynamics and staff well-being.
  • Provides induction, training, coaching, mentoring and advice to supervised staff to ensure that they understand and carry out their responsibilities effectively
  • Lead high-quality project design with innovative approaches that incorporate project management standards and MEAL methods, appropriate to the scope, context, and technical requirements of large and complex projects.
  • Develop a standard for project management document templates ensuring proper project cycles: TOR, checklists, timeline, budget, etc
  • Responsible for ensuring hiring the right Project Manager and teams for each incoming project, and ensuring building pipelines for Project Teams as well


Project Planning, Management and Implementation

  • Ensure learning are documented by the project team
  • Develop, monitor, review and update each Project activity, work plan to ensure that it attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible. Including manage project budget (direct cost), allocating resources and reporting on fund allocation
  • Oversee Project Monitoring & Evaluation, providing analysis and feedback to improve the whole project
  • Ensure quality implementation of all projects
  • Review and ensure alignment of projects priorities, strategies and plans
  • Provide leadership in the development of strategic plans, reports and budgets for all projects
  • Support the project managers in developing and managing relationship with donors/clients


Project Development (Partnership and Networking)

  • Making proposals, pitching and developing strategies to engage with potential donors
  • Responsible for x amount of revenue generation (target will be set together upon onboarding)
  • Meet with potential partners/donors
  • Ensure effective information flow and communication with other stakeholders including partners, clients and donors
  • Create regular events to attract donors/partners


Communications Strategy and Program Activation

  • Ensure compliance of clients’ brand guidelines and communication strategy during project activation
  • Working with Marketing Team to develop and improve communications strategy related to program activations through community, digital marketing and social media strategy
  • Communicating, liaising, and engaging with multiple stakeholders, including donors, students, parents, teachers, schools, government, and partner organizations.


Requirements:

  • Have the following skills: Strong Leadership Skills, Project Management, Strategic Thinking, Communication Skills, Problem-Solving Abilities, Customer Engagement, Budget Management, Data-driven person, Learning Management, Facilitation Skills
  • Experience in designing, setting up and coordinating monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment systems and processes of a project are required
  • Able to leading team and excellent communication skills, both in Indonesian and in English
  • Committed to empowering youth in Indonesia through technology and innovation
  • Able to work remotely and independently
  • At least Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in Business/Management/Education/Technology or related fields
  • Having minimum 5-6 years of experience in project management or related fields
  • Strong understanding of the project cycle management
