The Opportunity
Responsible for driving client focused outcomes by leading and transforming our claims and operation team to provide consulting and advisory on the spectrum of overall benefits and People Risks that have a positive impact upon employee health and wellbeing which in turn support clients' broader talent management and financial goals. This position will provide us with a point of differentiation in the Health Solutions community which will support client attraction and retention and achieve overall growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Advisory
- In coordination with the Sales, Account Management, and Regional Health Solutions Team as required, create solutions for clients to the identified challenges coming out of client discovery/profiling, plan review, health data analytics, and provide a clear point of competitive differentiation
- Identify key consulting opportunities for strategy development and deployment
- Provide clients with insights into key issues and prevailing risks that feed into appropriate recommendations/solutions to achieve improved employee wellbeing, engagement, and resilience
- Drive the provision of consulting, client engagement, and execution of programs that includes but not limited to benefits strategy, plan design, pricing strategy, health & wellbeing, and digital benefits for the growth of Health Solutions in Indonesia
- Working with Head of Health Solutions to develop and implement effective and efficient operation model that support divisional growth plans and long-standing client relationship
- Establishing processes, measuring for monitoring, maintaining, and improving standards that are consistent with our Code of Business Conduct
- Managing and supervising the team on day-to-day operations to ensure Operation Excellence KPIs achieved
- Implementing company initiatives including but not limited to consulting and advisory, tools and technology
- Ensure strong collaboration between client-facing team and regional/global team in delivering distinctive client value
- Liaise with Sales and Account Management Team to ensure needs of market differentiation remain clearly articulated
- Build strong relationship with carriers and other health care/wellness or other relevant vendors to develop and deliver programs specific to identified people risks and leverage Regional Health Solutions relationship
- Work with regional and local sales and marketing teams to create and deliver thought leadership content that drives client engagement and supports revenue targets
- Building on the strengths of the team, developing hi-po talents, and addressing the gaps in expertise
- Building trusted relationships with the leadership of other solution lines that facilitates and encourages collaboration
- Delivering counsel and execution support to clients and colleagues, supporting retention and revenue growth objectives of the team
- Managing direct reports as required, ensuring that their objectives are aligned with the overall Health Solutions strategy, that their performance is satisfactory and that they are taking the necessary action continually to develop their capability
- Leading and engaging the team in a manner which provides direction, clearly delineated responsibilities, and appreciation of importance and opportunity for the colleagues
- Connecting the local country teams with regional colleagues
- Contributing to client solutions development in Indonesia
- Performing other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your Manager and members of the Regional Leadership Team
- Contributing to various Health Solutions APAC initiatives and other leadership forums (as required)
- Be an active participant and contributor to the local Health Solutions Leadership and Commercial forums (as required)
- Degree in any relevant discipline
- Possess strategic planning skills, business acumen, and project management
- In-depth knowledge of the overall employee benefits program, its funding mechanism, broking processes, advisory and consulting, market segments, and marketplaces
- Effective interpersonal and people management skills
- Demonstrate accountability, coaching, and management skills
- Minimum regulatory requirements as stipulated by OJK and other relevant authority
- Alignment to departmental and organizational vision and goals
- An effective communicator who has ability to present, negotiate, and influence at operation and strategic level with clients
- Experienced and proven record in leading client-facing and/or operation team of related experience in broking/consulting/professional services firm
- Highly motivated and excellent leadership skills while consistently driving for results
