As Front Office Team Leader you will be responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Reception within the Rooms Division.


Main Duties :


  • Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to Assistant Manager Duty if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests
  • Monitor all arriving guests through guest arrival list ensuring the rates, set up and all guest requirements are provided and followed up
  • Ensure all Front Desk Officer acknowledge current promotions, policies, events, daily VIPs, and other important information
  • Assist the Assistant Manager and Front Desk in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times
  • Liaise and organise with Housekeeping Department that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to
  • Ensure that the cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Assist in making reservation at other Hyatt hotels in conjunction with Spirit Single Image interface facility
  • Up sell rooms, F&B outlets and other facilities whenever opportunities arise
  • Communicate rooms sell strategy to staff
  • Check and update Housekeeping report and departure list daily
  • Monitor rooms availability for current and next 2 weeks (minimum)
  • Liaise with Housekeeping and other related departments on daily operation
  • Take over duties from subordinates as may be required and during peak hours
  • Monitor and ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests
  • Establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship
  • Control Rooms blocking during peak periods and to pre assign rooms for large groups movement and next day’s arrivals
  • Ensure all Cashier drawer have sufficient floats / banks to service all guests during their shift
  • Check guest registration and folios, ensuring that the various types of voucher attached
  • Control rooms blocking during peak periods and to pre-assign rooms for VIPs and all FITs


Qualifications


  • Has good ethic and professional attitude.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the same positions.
  • Enjoys interaction and naturally well versed with social conversation
  • Excellent communication skill both in verbal & written.
  • Well versed with Opera, Microsoft Office as well as other system related and reports
