About the Role
This role is responsible for supporting various FP&A duties, including (1) day-to-day data consolidation, model building, and report creation for management meetings, (2) closely working with the Fintech business segment on data collection, analysis, and review, (3) participating in important projects in the Group’s financial universe such as annual budgeting and other ad-hoc analysis exercises, and (4) assisting IR and CorpDev team on earnings and corporate actions. Key challenges within the first 6 months would be getting a solid grasp on the end-to-end information flow from data sources to report outputs, given (1) the complexity of financial systems, processes, concepts, and models, (2) the inter-connected and evolving nature of businesses, and (3) tight deadlines for cadences and ad-hoc tasks. Overcoming the challenges, the person will improve the team's ability to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful analysis for the financial health of the Group and make meaningful contributions to strategic decision-making.

We are currently seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate at the GoTo Group HoldCo level, supporting the coverage of the GoTo Financial vertical (including GoPay, GoFin, etc.). In this role, you will be involved in a broad range of FP&A duties including budgeting, business & financial review, and financial modeling. You will be an expert with a solid grasp of the end-to-end financial and operations data, supporting various parties with quantitative and qualitative insights, therefore perform as a meaningful contributing force to GoTo’s strategy formulation and corporate decisions of the Senior Management (CEO, CFO, etc.) from a financial planning and analysis standpoint.
What You Will Do

• Partner with GoTo Financial vertical to track and analysis business performance and facilitate group-level understanding - translating business drivers into financial impact/results and vice-versa
• Participate in Group budgeting and financial forecast exercises, applying business judgment and financial insights to help with operational target setting
• Support the team to consolidate various Group level FP&A reports delivering impactful and significant insights that drive decision making
• Maintain sophisticated financial modeling, support team’s efforts to build models from scratch, improve existing models, and capture complex business reality/dynamics
• Collaborate closely with the Investor Relations/Corporate Development team on earnings and corporate actions as one of the main data suppliers to support the company’s performance in the capital market

What You Will Need

• Strong understanding of financial statements, with Degree level qualification in Accounting, Business, or Quantitative fields of study
• A desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a dedicated commitment
• Good financial modeling skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word); Comfortable working with large volumes of numbers and formulas; Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides is a plus;
• 3-4 years of FP&A experience and/or experience in the financial services sector
• Ability to communicate efficiently and build work relationships with business units and other stakeholders
• A team player who collaborates closely with others for the same goal
• A self-motivator for learning, problem-solving, and deep-diving into complex concepts
• Attention to detail with high standards for quality and accuracy in results
