Manpower Analyst Jobs

An Ops Manpower Planning Analyst is responsible for quarterly, monthly, weekly, daily and shif-wise forecasting and planning of Operations manpower across Dilayani Tokopedia fulfillment centers, Tokopedia NOW! DC & hubs and other locations like cross-docking hubs.

What you’ll do/ Responsibilities:

• Work with all stakeholders to operationalize the action plans generated through RCA
• Convert the periodic outbound order injection forecasts and predicted inbound flows into manpower plans
• Own KPIs for manpower planning – order injection forecast accuracy, manpower planning accuracy and co-own Ops SLA compliance
• Be the subject matter expert on manpower planning, focusing on value-driving analytics
• Perform advanced analytics based modeling to come up with root cause for non-performance of KPIs at FC/Hub/DC Level; Define and implement action items for improvement of KPI Performance with clear ETA.
• Assist delivery of valuable strategic initiatives, partnering with key people in the organization
• Work with Data Science and Data Analytics teams to forecast the future order and item inject per warehouse using advanced analytical forecasting techniques
• Review the plan adherence on real-time basis and suggest actions to revise the same based on changing business patterns, processes and requirements
• Participate in the recruiting efforts for new analysts by evaluating potential for success and sharing feedback with the hiring team.
• Collect and analyze historic order and item injection by time period – quarterly, monthly, weekly, daily and shift-level
• Work with Sales & Marketing and BD teams to incorporate campaigns and other features to improve the order & item forecast accuracy
• Guide People team on future order patterns and hence what would be the permanent vs DW split
• Track actual order and item injection to identify the trends and seasonality and incorporate the same into order & item injection forecasting
• Where required, work closely with Product & Engineering teams to develop necessary analytical toolkits to automate core planning tasks
• Work with Ops and People teams to identify the DW requirement for different time horizons and forecast the future manpower spend
• Propose and manage data-driven system improvements

What you’ll need/ Requirements:

• At least 1-3 years’ experience in Operations Planning
• Advanced modeling skills
• Good knowledge of e-commerce industry practices
• Relevant working experience in e-commerce is added advantage
• BS degree in Statistics, Operation Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Math, etc. or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in one or more of MS Office, visualization solutions like Tableau/Metabase/Bokeh/Google Datastudio etc.
• Ability to structurally dive deeper into root causes and translate the same into action items
• Basic people and team management skills including measuring and delivering performance feedback
• Stakeholder management; ability to manage internal and external stakeholders (Ops Planning, DC Ops, BD, S&M, IBP, Product);
