𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆

People in the Finance teams are responsible for the financial planning and analysis of a company, allowing the organization to make well-informed commercial decisions.

Financial analysts partner with management to provide both strategic and tactical financial planning, budgeting, forecasting modelling, monitoring and analysis to help the Company meet its strategic objectives.

What you will do:

You will work closely with CEO to help us produce regular reports using financial data, and work collaboratively across the entire finance team to analyze business performance and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Working with our CEO, your volunteer role includes:

·Run market research, including the search for potential investment pools,

·Conduct market and competition analysis to support investment decisions and prepare preliminary financial analyses

·Prepare, evaluate, and report key financial and operating metrics. Identify trends, track progress, and make recommendations on areas for improvement.

·Ensure that the operations during Fundraising are built for scale and resilience.

·Support the fundraising strategy in building strong relationships with VCs and angels, by managing the CRM, doing investor outreach, market research.

·Guide and participate in process and reporting improvement projects and initiatives to improve reporting and forecast accuracy.

·Support and improve the implementation of financial planning and data systems.

Education and experience

·High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

·Experience in accounting and finance (preferred)

·Knowledge in consumer electronics and the retail environment (preferred)

Skills and requirements

·Fluent in English

·Genuine interest in early-stage startups, Venture Capital and technology

·Effective communication and relationship-building skills

·Undergraduate degree or similar education in accounting and finance.

·Creative and tech savvy.

·Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the requirements of the project change.

·Good with PowerBI, Tableau, Powerpoint tools.

·Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features

·Initiative-taker with a strong commitment to driving results

·Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment

·Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills

·Access to a smartphone (iPhone or Android).
