We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Developer to join our team at Longhi Air. You will be identifying new opportunities and markets, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client and partner base around the world. Therefore, the ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential partners/clients, target markets, and emerging trends in the air cleaners and smoking cabins industry. Develop strategic plans and do follow-up to penetrate new markets and acquire new customers and partners.
2. Build and nurture partner relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing partners and find new partners. Understand their needs and requirements, and propose solutions that highlight the benefits of our air cleaners and smoking cabins. Establish agreements to expand our reach, enhance our product offerings, and deliver benefit to our clients.
3. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations: Create compelling presentations and conduct demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our air cleaners and smoking cabins. Effectively communicate our unique selling points and value proposition to clients and partners.
4. Conduct market research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities. Conduct thorough market research to identify gaps, potential niches, and areas of growth. Analyze data and provide insights to guide business development strategies.
5. Monitor and achieve sales targets: Set ambitious sales targets and develop strategies and plans to achieve and exceed them. Regularly track and analyze sales metrics, pipeline, and performance against targets. Make adjustments and course corrections as needed to ensure consistent growth.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, sales support, R&D, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Provide input and insights to shape product offerings, marketing campaigns, and go-to-market strategies.
7. Attend industrial events: Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build a strong professional network, generate leads, and enhance the visibility of our brand within the air cleaners and smoking cabins market.
Qualifications & skills
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in international business development or sales in similar business area.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience within the air cleaners and smoking cabins industry or a related field is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business, forging strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: negotiation, and presentation skills. Must be fluent in English.
