Digital Solutions Engineer (Digital Service)

Job Summary

Primary function is to drive, manage and execute of digital service initiative to enable digital transformation by leveraging IIOT based innovations (Augmented Operator, Asset Performance, Control Optimization ) to support and grow our installed based, which include Secure Remote Access (SRA), Cyber Security Services, and all EcoStruxure Advisors platform such DCS Advisor to provide a secure connection to our customer sites, Safety Advisor, Maintenance Advisor, Operations Advisor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible to improve customer satisfaction throughout a case management and customer care program with the goal of growing service business
• To regularly visit clients for a contract / system health check and conduct operational / performance related reviews
• In conjunction with Regional Service Organization, implements regional service strategy for meeting customer needs and company goals and objectives
• To manage software support, preventative maintenance, modifications and enhancements, routine servicing, warranty work and emergency responses
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the customer’s business and identify where Digital Services solutions can add value to customer installed based.
• Focal point for Digital services such as online, monitoring, remote troubleshooting, remote issue resolution, cyber Assessment, Predictive Analytic, Cyber intrusion Detection, advisor as a Service, and Digital transformation
• Active contributor for driving activities and developing procedures and policy to improve the quality of the service organization
• Drive Ealy Engagement with customers, work closely with Sales ,Business development , Digital Transformation Consulting team on Digital services solutions offer.
• Interact directly with customers to address and resolve product/service concerns.
• For Remote Connected Services, remotely conducting problem analysis, anticipating, identifying, and defining problems, seeking root causes, developing and implementing practical and timely solutions, ready to travel to customer site if required.
• Working closely with our Global & Regional expert team on the execution of Digital Service projects ( Cybersecurity, Secure Remote Access, and Advisors)

Qualifications

• Proven experience to successfully interact with customer’s in regard to performance issues Ability to work well under pressure, manage time and multi-task
• Ability to stay focussed on the high-level goals during execution of detailed engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience in IT or Computer network
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
• Naturally curious and self-motivated to discover unknown concepts
• Education: Bachelor in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science
• Excellent problem-solving skills are a must. An ability to cut through the noise and see the core issue will be extremely advantageous
• Ready for traveling to site and meet the site medical requirement
• Knowledge of common IT industrial and operational technologies, systems, and norms essential
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication
• Experienced in use of SAP and MS Office product suite
