Deputy Gm Tax - Power Plant

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on power plant. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 20 years' experience in tax, with a minimum 20 years for the job of Deputy GM Tax. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Manage any tax investigation in the company
• Actively mitigate the tax risks and any control process built up in the company
• Maintain efficient financial information systems in the organization to enable the management team to take appropriate and timely actions
• Ensure that appropriate controls are in place to achieve compliance with internal policy, group, and relevant legislation and regulation
• Coordinate with the tax consultant in manage the reporting and business process including an audit
• Perform working capital management to ensure quick turn over especially for AR and inventory
• Build internal financial controls within the company and ensure all financial activities are performed in accordance with the financial controls
• Direct reporting to GM Finance, Accounting and Tax
• Lead risk examinations for all functions and report properly to region / group following group risk management guideline
• Manage tax planning and ensure tax compliance, to ensure local tax requirements are met
• Develop internal controls and policies designed to ensure that all compliance needs are met
• Manage external Reporting to meet local GAAP and IFRS and internal reporting to ensure in time IC reconciliation / dispute settlements
• Examine proposals for new projects, new business and new ideas from all functions/departments for financial approval, input finance instruction / information in company business plan preparation to ensure the feasibility of the plan

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the same position (Tax Manager / Senior Manager) for min. 3 years in power plant company or tax consulting who serve power plant company
• Strong knowledge in Transfer Pricing, CIT, VAT and withholding tax
• Strong time management / strong ability to manage to deadlines
• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Familiar with SAP system and application
• Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 20 years' experience in finance and accounting, in multinational company
• Tax optimization knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• Recognized professional qualification (qualified accountant)
• Hands-on as this person is the only tax & finance person in Indonesia
