Data Management Projects Specialist

:

• Attend relevant forums to represent Data Management, where needed.
• Contribute and/or support in designing and implementing processes to reduce complexity of information flows across the Bank resulting in reduced cost, improved data quality and trust, and enhanced controls reducing the operational risk.
• Assist in the development of a holistic view of the data by building knowledge of current platforms, datasets, technology and strategy, aligned with the bank-wide Data Management Strategy and Roadmap.
• Contribute and/or support in designing and implementing processes to ensure the safe sourcing and distribution of datasets, and safe consumption and transformation of datasets.
• Attend relevant forums to represent Data Management, where needed.
• Coordinate with RCU, Regulatory and/or relevant teams to ensure that proposed data flow and approach comply with internal policy and requlatory requirements, where needed.g and implementing processes to ensure the safe sourcing and distribution of datasets, and safe consumption and transformation of datasets.
• Develop solid business cases to justify tactical and stratgic investments in Data Management.
• Contribute and/or support in designing and implementing processes to reduce complexity of information flows across the Bank resulting in reduced cost, improved data quality and trust, and enhanced controls reducing the operational risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams e.g. IT and the business to deliver on Data Management initiatives.
• Maintain and assist in data model documentation, technical glossary, data flow, data mapping and governance documentation.
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of Data Management projects and initiatives, both tactical and long-term, through projects.
• Align with and participate in relevant CIMB Group activities and policies, where appropriate.
• Maintain and assist in data model documentation, technical glossary, data flow, data mapping and governance documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams e.g. IT and the business to deliver on Data Management initiatives.

Requirements :

• At least 3 years of experience as Data Analyst or Consultant; and/or
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience as IT Development in Data technology and systems, preferably in financial service; and/or
• Professional technical certifications in databases, reporting, Data Analytics and Big Data will be an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience as Business Analyst for Data-focused projects.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
